The BW Offshore story

BW Offshore is the second-largest operator of floating production storage and offloading vessels in the world (FPSO and FSO). Launched in 1983, the company is known for providing marine transport, engineering, and maintenance services to major oil and gas industries globally. 

BW offshore comprises a fleet of 15 owned FPSOs which has enabled the company to successfully complete 40 FPSO and FSO projects.

The main aim of BW Offshore is to boost the advancement of recently discovered offshore oil and gas fields by making use of existing production assets available. The company concentrates on all small and medium-sized industries that have expertise in exploration. The company also tries to provide maximum return to shareholders without compromising on the nature of business in the long-term 

Along with a strong balance sheet and financial capabilities, the company has been able to get its name listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. BW Offshore strives to provide safe, secure and pollution-free shipping services and is able to achieve certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 international standards.

In addition, candidates must have strong communication skills with an ability to speak and write English fluently along with the ability to adapt in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment. Candidates must be proactive, responsible, work-oriented, and can able excellent work under high pressure.

The average monthly salary of a chief officer is SGD10,000 while the average salary of a senior planner is SGD7000 per month. An engineer can expect a monthly salary of SGD24,000.
