Your role

As an intern with the team, you will be obtaining a broad understanding of the Data Management Office and its role in Data Governance.

• Assist with Business Metadata management process
• Develop Process flows & Internal procedures on Data Governance subject areas
• Implement Process Improvement initiatives
• Assist with Data export requests and manual CBD requests review
• Perform data analysis, i.e. structuring, interpreting & consolidating data across specific subject areas
• Develop innovative content based on self-research and assist with developing strategic artifacts, and guidelines for the team.

Learning Outcomes

• Gain an understanding of data governance and management concepts, practical application, learn data governance operationalization, how metadata tools, workflows, and processes are developed
• Sharpen MS Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
• Acquire knowledge and competencies in areas relating to Data Extraction Data Profiling, Root cause analysis, etc.
• Acquire skills and competencies in the areas of Content Writing & Communication.

About you

• 6-month availability
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Technology, Computing, or related backgrounds
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, VBA, or SQL skills
• Self-starter, Team player, self-motivated and resourceful
• Able to multi-task and cope with change and diversity in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think objectively and 'think outside the box' when analyzing issues.
